This little angel asked me today if there were grocery stores when I was a child. I said, "of course honey" with a little smile.
He then asked what kinds of things the stores sold.
I replied, "groceries of course".
He then asked if it sold:
DVDs? NO
Gift Cards? NO
Fruit Snacks? Hmm, I don't think so.
Chicken nuggets???!!! I don't know bud...I didn't have those as a kid.
"Oh geez" he said, "I wouldn't have wanted to live in the olden days, that's for sure"!
