The Countdown is on!

I have just two weeks of school left! I only go to school two days next week but I have so SO so much to do, it's crazy. So far I've passed everything, so just keep your fingers crossed that my good fortune continues. My last final is on December 8th and then I won't go back until January 4th. I just need to get through the next two weeks...3 big tests, 2 small tests, two case studies, one research paper response, one perfectly performed skill of mixing medications in a syringe, clinical time, and more.. So, if you don't see me until mid-December, you know why!

Pet Peeve Friday

3 of my pet peeves
1. When people take unflattering pictures of me and pass them around, tag them on facebook or frame them.
2. When I clean the living room, go off to clean to clean the bathroom, then come out to find toys dragged all over the living room.
3. I had to miss the midnight premiere of New Moon because of Nursing School. I have a post test today and wanted to be fresh for it. It stinks.
Post Tests are my BIG pet peeve at the moment!

He's been quarantined to our bedroom.
I bought these masks for the kids because they like
to get really close to their dad
(while I stay 5 feet away, haha).
Derek did not like the masks one bit.

New Moon Countdown

I've been waiting and waiting and now just 9 days!!
Ahh!!!

I'm so excited

I'm so excited!
I get to have clinical practice of the hairiest kind...
Do you remember your school nurse doing a head check on you
for LICE? Yep, I get to do that! Yippee! (NOT).
I get to spend two days in two local elementary schools doing
height/weight, lice checks, and eye exams.
This is when I'm kind of glad I already have kiddos.
I'm sure my head will be itching when I get home tomorrow.

Halloween 2009

Happy Belated Halloween!
We had a great time but I'm glad the action is over.
Sasha and Jackson had a very special friend over for two nights, attended my mom's annual Halloween party, and went trick-or-treating with a pack of kids. They had the best time.

It's our tradition to hit Shari's for breakfast after every Halloween party. The kids were subdued and sweet. I thought they were tired from the annual Halloween party but I think they were just getting their energy upfor trick-or-treating!
